Please allow me to raise a question first. Is it just that simple to design a bag? When I came across Louis Vuitton Menilmontant, I just realized fashion could be so easy! Louis Vuitton has once again had those classic Monogram canvas and cowhide leather combined and made them into another piece of art, which doesn’t look gorgeous, but classic and comfortable at least. Don’t get me wrong, I totally agree that it must be an ideal day and night bag for women.

Obviously, this is a hand-free shoulder bag without superfluous print or embellishments. The only eye-catching part on the bag is its front pleats which make it feminine and take it out of dullness and lifelessness. The iconic cowhide trim still plays a significant role here on the bag. Coming with an adjustable shoulder strap, it allows you to carry either across your body or single side on your shoulder. Though there is no big surprise outside of the bag worth mentioning, here comes a functional detail at the back size making a tremendous difference. It’s a zip pocket that is particularly designed for bits and bobs.

Here are some ways to slow the color changing. 1, If you want to keep the cream color staying longer, remember not to place it under sun or light. 2, Keep it away from oil, water and dirts. 3, Make sure that your hands are clean before you touch it. 4, Place it in the dust bag when you are not using it. Of course, the climate is also a decisive factor. If you are living in a humid area, the color will change faster. So you need to do whatever you can to keep it in a dryer place!

On the contrary, if you want it to look like honey color, try the following ways to age the leather faster. 1, Place your handbag under sunlight as much as possible. Light exposure is the most effective way to age it faster. 2, Use the oil that Louis Vuitton recommends to help oxidize the leather. Some advice using baby wipes and lotion. Please be noted that these are not recommended by Louis Vuitton because the chemical compositions may damage the leather. So the best way is get it properly oxidized under the light!

It functionally features an adjustable strap and two front pockets. Besides, the main compartment is spacious enough for daily stuff, so it must be an ideal choice for busy city living. Louis Vuitton Summer 2013 - Monogram Vernis Floral Ikat

The time has come for me to show you my favourite part of the Louis Vuitton Summer Collection, in the previous posts I have mentioned the fabulous floral Ikat lining and in yesterday's shoe post you saw the Vernis Floral shoes that will be released, well the same floral Ikat print will also be used on a range of small leather goods and a brand new bag too.

Catalina is the new bag to celebrate the floral print and will be released in two sizes, although it is new both sizes are reminiscent of previously sold and now discontinued Louis Vuitton models, the larger Catalina NS resembles the Sac Plat all be it a little wider and it will be available in the two pink versions of the print; Rose Indien and Rose Velours. Catalina NS will retail for ￡1585 approximately.

Catalina BB resembles the former Vernis Reade model but I believe a little bit smaller, this model will be sold in Grand Bleu and Rose Velours and is expected to retail in the region of ￡910.? Unfortunately the colours listed above are currently the only options available so if you'd prefer say the Catalina BB in Rose Indien I'm afraid that isn't possible, however there is another bag that will be available in all three colour options.

The Monogram Vernis Pochette in Floral Ikat will be released in all three colour ways this is the newer model of the pochette featuring wider sides and a longer more practical strap it is expected to retail for ￡685.

In the small leather goods side of the collection there are three confirmed options, the ever popular Zippy Wallet, the Sarah Wallet and the Cosmetics Pouch.

The Sarah (shown at the top of the post) and the Cosmetics Pouch will be available in all three colours, approximate retail is ￡550 and ￡335 respectively. The Zippy Wallet (￡640) will be available in Grand Bleu and Rose Indien only, there is a rumour of the Coin Zippy also being released in this collection but availability or colour options are unconfirmed.

Louis Vuitton Noe BB Bag coming this May

This coming May 1st, Louis Vuitton is set to launch new Noe BB Bag. The Noe Bag was originally designed back in 1932 to carry champagne bottles. Today, this perfect city bag has been redesigned and have been available in different materials, such as Monogram Canvas, Monogram Idylle, Epi Leather, Damier Azur and Monogram Multicolor. It is currently available in three sizes, Petit, PM and Noe. The smaller version that will be released this May, is a great addition to this elegant collection. It will be available in Epi Leather and priced at $1,346.00 (USD). Colors that will be offered are Figue, Cyan, Citron, Piment and Fuchsia. It has extra long straps and definitely smaller than the Petit Noe.

I think beach must be the most favorite place that many people would love to go in summer. Since staying home or somewhere outside is still too hot to breathe, staying in water will be the most natural and comfortable way to cool down. Ailleurs, somewhere else, you might have a dream place to go in hot summer. Where will it be? Well, who knows? But what I know is that Louis Vuitton will take us somewhere in this summer. Louis Vuitton Ailleurs Summer 2011, a collection full of exotic sensations and amazing feelings, presents us what elegance is.

Ailleurs Cabas is available in three versions: Aventure, Escale and Promenade. All of them feature the same size and design but different prints which respectively present us the different scenes of the place. Though they come in different prints, these colorful totes capture the dazzling spirit and evoke all the glamour of effortless summer style. In structure, these bags come with the double handles and protective bottom studs. In function, they all feature an interior zipped pocket, while golden brass hardware and Louis Vuitton inventeur plate add a glamorous and luxurious touch to the bags.

My Louis Vuitton Neverfull Arrived

Today, I received my Louis Vuitton Neverfull that I ordered last week from PursesMama. Actually, this is supposed to be a mother’s day gift. Choosing the Neverfull bag is because the classic monogram canvas is suitable for different age of people. So I think it must be my mom’s type and she is gonna love it!

The overall Louis Vuitton Neverfull looks great, however, there is a little flaw in the yellow stitching on the interior zip pocket, which can be easily found from the third picture above. Apart from that, I am very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. This is a replica, so what else I could expect? Zoom in the details such as the golden hardware with engraved LV logo and the embossed Louis Vuitton PARIS made in France, you will be amazed at the exquisite imitation. BTW, I believe the leather is the matter that most of us concern about. If you are worried about the authenticity of the leather, I am here to affirm you that the cowhide leather is real oxidizing leather, which will turn dark like honey over time. Now, I can’t wait to see how excited my mom will be after receiving this gift!
