Officially 2013 the year of the mini bags at Louis Vuitton but it would seem that the Neverfull is also having it's moment in the sun with quite a few varieties of the bag being released this year, the latest of which is the Epi Neverfull.
The Neverfull has been such a popular style for Vuitton due to it's effortless easy to wear style now producing it in Epi leather only adds to the style's versatility by having a model that is a little smarter than it's canvas counterparts. The best news is smart doesn't have to mean boring as the Neverfull is produced in a rainbow of colours.
The main concern with the Epi version of the bag was how stiff will it be and can it be cinced, the Epi leather used on these bags is a softer more supple version of the grained leather and it does allow cincing but not as much as you'd find on the Monogram or Damier versions.
The other significant difference over the canvas versions is that the Epi bag is lined in microfibre and has no internal pocket but to compensate for that the Epi version has a matching removable pouch clipped to the D ring inside the bag.
The Epi Neverfull is currently only available in the MM model and comes in seven colour options; Indigo, Figue, Cyan, Piment, Citron, Fuchsia and Black it retails for £1160 ($1990 US).
